![]() ![]() Jesus called the crowd to gather around and listen to what he had to say. They were more concerned with following the traditions of men than they were with following the Word of God. He was saying that the Pharisees thought that clean hands were more important than a clean heart. Jesus wasn’t saying that washing our hands is not important. He answered them by saying, "You hypocrites! You are the people the prophet Isaiah wrote about when he said, 'You ignore God’s law and substitute your own tradition.'" Jesus knew the hearts of the people who were complaining about his disciples’ unwashed hands. They asked Jesus, "Why don’t your disciples follow our tradition? They eat without first following our hand-washing ceremony." Jesus responded to the people who questioned him, but his answer was not what they wanted to hear. One day a group of Pharisees noticed that some of Jesus’s disciples were eating without first washing their hands. It is important to have clean hands before we eat, isn’t it? It is a good idea to use soap or a hand sanitizer to make sure we get rid of those germs you can't see. Even when our hands look clean, they have germs on them that can make us sick. As I sat down at my place at the dinner table, my mother would almost always ask, "Did you wash your hands?" I must confess that sometimes I would answer, "Yes" when the truth of the matter was that I had come straight to the dinner table without washing my hands.ĭo you always wash your hands before you eat? (Allow the children to answer.) Clean hands are one of the most important ways to help us stay healthy. Many times I had been outside playing and my hands were quite dirty. Don’t ever stop.I remember times when I was a child that my mother would call out, "Dinner is ready!" and we would all gather at the dinner table. Walk out His purpose for your life and continue doing this until you walk in your Eternal destiny in heaven. Allow Him to save you through His Son – Jesus. So that you can come before Him with clean hands and a pure heart.Īsk Him to define your purpose and lay down vanities and never swear oaths to deceive.Īfter you repent open your arms wide to Adonai in Jesus Name and receive His Blessing and His Justice. Whatever He puts His finger on within you that you will ask Him to cleanse you from all unrighteousness. ![]() Today, my prayer for each of you is that you will bare yourself before Adonai and ask Him to search your entire being. Be willing to allow Him into the dark places that we even try to hide from Him. ![]() We must all be willing to ask Adonai to search our hearts and cleanse us from any hidden fault. Many times, we as human beings point the finger at everyone and everything refusing to take responsibility for our life circumstance and lay the blame on others. ![]() In my own life, I repent often, quickly and ask Adonai to search my heart if I even for one moment think that I have stepped out of this boundary that He has set before me.īecause I want His Blessing and His Justice and in every circumstance in my life, I want Him to Save me. Have I made vanities the purpose of my life or sworn oaths to deceive? Who don’t make vanities the purpose of their lives or swear oaths just to deceive. Psalm 24 says Who may go up to the mountain of Adonai? Those with clean hands and pure hearts. It is my desire to hear Him clearly, see Him clearly and see all situations from His perspective. Walking in the Victory that Jesus His Son has won. So that I can come before Him, receive His Blessing and declare, decree and establish His Word in this earth. That I may have clean hands and a pure heart.” The primary desire of my life for the access won by Jesus’s Victory to the throne room of Adonai to be open at all times. My hearts cry each morning, noon and night is, “Oh LORD, cleanse me from all unrighteousness. ![]()
